Are you unsure about harvesting wild edibles because...

  • You've heard about wild plants that are poisonous
  • You're not sure which ones are safe
  • You don't have the time
  • “I live in the city”
  • “Wld foraging is seasonal”

These are just a few of the reasons you continue to buy store-bought, farm-raised produce.

Spend a little time reading our foraging information today and...

...in most cases... you can go out afterwards (same day), pick your first wild edible... and include it in your salad that night!  “But I live in the city”  Try your backyard!

The bonus:

  • You don't have to grow it
  • It's free
  • It's more "organic"
  • Fresher (more nutritious and longer shelf life than produce from your market)
  • Convenient
  • Wild vegetables are much more nutritious than store-bought vegetables!
  • Harvest ("shop") at your leisure
  • Spending time in the outdoors with yourself, your family, and your pets
